One thing lost on President Donald Trump’s critics is that he’s not a career politician, a reality that drives much of the decision making that draws so much attention.
This is also what appeals to many of his supporters who’ve long since grown weary of watching polished politicians like Democratic nominee Joe Biden spend decades enriching themselves in Washington, only to leave the nation worse off than before.
Actress Kristie Alley is one of those who see being a non-politician as one of Trump’s greatest assets.
“I’m voting for @realDonaldTrump because he’s NOT a politician,” Alley tweeted. “I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason. He gets things done quickly and he will turn the economy around quickly. There you have it folks there you have it. 🙄”

Not one to hold back her opinion on the state of events, or to lash out at liberal for their nonsense, Alley was just in the news when she openly wished that biased CNN “reporters” would just shut up and admit already that they hate President Trump.
The observation from the proud Trump supporter — Alley endorsed Trump in 2016 — was in response to the media’s meltdown the night the president was released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Alley tweeted that Democrats “have accomplished NOTHING in the last 3 1/2 years other than Devising ways to take TRUMP DOWN.”
The actress best known for her role in “Cheers” also joined with those disgusted by the Academy Awards’ new affirmative-action policy requiring films to meet racial diversity requirements before they can be considered for awards.
She warned Hollywood: “You’re swinging so far left you’re bumping into your own ass.”
The left responded to Alley’s declaration as you might expect, with lots of personal attacks:

I’m getting my car fixed by the neighbor’s goat because I didn’t like the last few mechanics I went to. Sure, he eats all my flowers and chews on random lawn ornaments, and yeah, last time he just ate part of the fuel hose, but at least he’s not a mechanic. https://t.co/HBnaGXNJUP

The President of the United States is, in fact, a politician. Granted, not one with basic skills of coalition-building or managing a government, but he is a politician in the worst possible meaning of the term: empty promises, exploiting fear and sowing hatred.

Oooh the highly sought after Scientologist Kirstie Alley vote! Almost as lucrative as the Taliban endorsement. https://t.co/zD7D5WmqIx

On the other hand, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin led the response from the good guys in endorsing Alley’s selection:
