Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden doesn’t appear to know how to pronounce the word Psalms, which is odd given as he’s supposed to be a Catholic.
On Wednesday he live-streamed a Thanksgiving speech in which he referenced the psalmists who wrote the Bible’s Psalms but referred to them as “palmists.”
The remark about “palmists” came at the tail end of his speech as he attempted to quote from Psalm 28:7.
According to a written copy of his speech given beforehand to CNN — who else — this is what he should have said (pay attention to the bolded part):
“On this Thanksgiving, and in anticipation of all the Thanksgivings to come, let us dream again. Let us commit ourselves to thinking not only of ourselves but of others. For if we care for one another — if we open our arms rather than brandish our fists — we can, with God’s help, heal. And if we do, and I am sure we can, we can proclaim with the Pslamist who wrote: ‘The Lord is my strength and my shield … and with my song I give thanks to him.’”
But in reality, which tends to be far funnier than fiction (though not always), here’s what actually came flying out Biden’s mouth at a snail’s pace, as usual.
Oh. My. Heavens.
This is Joe Biden’s Thanksgiving Day message.
He has no idea what the Psalms are.
He calls them the “Palmists” and then looks confused.

“And if we do, and I’m sure we can, we can proclaim palmists, with the palmists who wrote these following words: ‘The Lord is my strength and my shield …,’” he said in the clip above before it cut off.
To his credit, Biden got everything right save for “palmists.”
But that didn’t stop him from being slammed left and right, including from President Donald Trump, who claimed that only 1,000 Americans had tuned in for his live-stream.
REPORT: Biden’s Thanksgiving Day Address gets just 1000 views online, a record low. Observers say a candidate with “80,000,000” votes would get many more online viewers. Numbers don’t lie, or add up! @OANN

If Joe wants to appear that his words are so sincere and so heartfelt he should at least read what his speechwriter wrote at least once before he reads it live on camera. There is a skill to acting. The first skill is knowing your lines.

How sad to see someone pretending to be someone that he isn’t. A glimpse of what the next four years are going to look like.

Responding to Biden’s glaring mispronunciation, Fox News’ Raymond Arroyo noted Friday on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” that it seemed really odd — maybe even telling.
“You know, this is a man who goes to to mass every Sunday, and he didn’t know the Psalms,” he said.
“You’ll notice there are no follow-up questions from the media. Zero,” Arroyo continued.
“I mean, while Biden talks freely about God, he’s planning to sue the Little Sisters of the Poor and install a government regime to crush religious freedom and conscience protections. Where are the curious reporters? Where are the shouted follow-ups that we hear whenever Trump shows up?”
“Sadly, some members of the media have become adversaries of Trump. They’re now opposition leaders rather than inquisitive reporters. All I want, all I think we’re asking is consistency, and an even playing field,” Arroya added.
“Where are the probing, uncomfortable questions about Biden’s energy policy, his abortion advocacy or — forgive me — his mental competency?”
The truth is that the media have been too busy doing what they’re now expected to do for the next four years straight — kissing not only Biden’s butt but also the butts of everybody he’s nominated to serve a role in his White House.
Including even his possible pets …

In a recent column, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro predicted that America’s in store for four long years of this, assuming Biden is inaugurated as president in January.
Noting how the media have been clamoring for a return to so-called “normal,” Shapiro opined that this “normal” means “the media will continue to cover Biden in sycophantic fashion.”
“This week, The Washington Post ran an entire piece devoted to the wonders of the New Biden Era, titled ‘Washington’s establishment hopes a Biden presidency will make schmoozing great again.’ The piece celebrated the old normal as ‘respect for experience and expertise,’ as ‘civility and bipartisan cooperation,’ as an opportunity to ‘bring people back together,’” he wrote.
“One wonders what sort of peyote the editorial staff of The Washington Post must be ingesting in order to remember the Obama Era so fondly; then, one quickly realizes that they’re simply high from huffing Democratic flatulence.”
Establishment media have utterly beclowned themselves for four years with Russian collusion nonsense, Trump-as-responsible-for-covid propaganda, and Trump-as-fascist garbage. Now they’ll morph into Biden stenographers. Americans are tuning out, and they should.
