Leftists and corporate media went berserk this past weekend over the crazy idea that the shape of the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference resembled a Nazi symbol. Not only is this conspiratorial nonsense and just another attempt by Democrats to slander Republicans as all bigots and racists, but the owner of the company that designed the stage is “very liberal,” according to reporter Yashar Ali.
2. Also worth noting that many of her employees are liberal
So many of you decided to go after something without any reporting or knowledge about who was responsible for the design
And before you ding her for working for CPAC, you try having an events business during a pandemic

As the National Pulse points out, Design Foundry, which designed the stage, has worked with organizations such as MSNBC and Google. It worked on the 2018 Biden Cancer Summit as well as the 70th anniversary of MSNBC’s “Meet the Press” in 2017. Design Foundry also produced work for the 2017 Summit for New America, which is operated by former members of the Obama administration. Of the $7,766.50 that Design Foundry employees spent on federal elections, a mere 1.8 percent ($140) even went to a Republican candidate.
Design Foundry says it had “no idea” that the design of the CPAC stage in any way resembled a Nazi symbol, as members of the left contend. The company is also “horrified” at leftist accusations that it supposedly showcased such an alleged symbol after it presented CPAC with several to choose from.

“Stage design conspiracies are outrageous and slanderous. We have a long standing commitment to the Jewish community,” tweeted CPAC Chair Matt Schlapp. “Cancel culture extremists must address antisemitism within their own ranks. CPAC proudly stands with our Jewish allies, including those speaking from this stage.”

“[W]e were extremely disappointed by the disrespect many individuals involved in the event showed to our colleagues, as it is reflective neither of our own commitment to care for members of the Hyatt family nor of how we wish to conduct business,” Hyatt, which hosted the event in Orlando, said in a statement. “When we learned that CPAC 2021 stage design had been compared to a symbol of hate, we promptly raised this concern with meeting organizers who strongly denied any connection to such symbols. Had we initially recognized the potential connections to hate symbolism, we would have proactively addressed it prior to commencement of the event.”
CPAC responded to Hyatt by saying the company’s claims are “demonstrably false” and “malicious,” since it worked hand-in-hand with CPAC to review and approve any designs at the event.
“For months we have collaborated with your team on logistics, including sharing, reviewing, and approving the stage design that was created by one of our subcontractors,” CPAC responded. “The fact that no one on the Hyatt staff ever raised concerns during the process shows the ridiculous nature of your statements. Moreover, your statements falsely conceal your oversight role. In fact, the Hyatt Hotel, with our organization and subcontractors, approved and worked collaboratively to build this stage. Only after a coordinated far-left assault to destroy our conference arose did you succumb to lies and compound them with your own.”
Design Foundry said the stage was “intended to provide the best use of space, given the constraints of the ballroom and social distancing requirements,” and that it is “saddened and horrified at the accusations that this was a deliberate act. Design Foundry denounces all hate speech and acts of racism, prejudice, or bigotry in all forms.”
In an attempt to find any possible way to support the conclusion that conservatives are all white supremacists, woke leftists embarrassed themselves once more with this ill-advised conspiracy.
